Welcome to Pack 287 located in Frederick, MD chartered by the Rotary Club of Fredericktowne. We meet monthly on the third Wednesday at 7pm at Spring Ridge Elementary School (SRES).
Please use this site to learn more about the Cub Scout program and how it can help teach your son or daughter life skills and values such as honesty, respect, and courage. The great outdoors is one of the key aspects to our program. There are at least 2 camping trips planned each year and we hope to have more. We do many community volunteer events such as the Annual Scouting For Food program where we collect thousands of pounds of food for the local Frederick food banks every year and provide almost the entire years supply of food simply by donating just a few hours of our each Scout's time. We also participate in the Scout Sweep where we clean up our local neighborhood, participate in pack and den service projects including socks of love, and partner with our Charter Organization, The Rotary Club of Fredericktowne at the annual Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army.
Congratulations to all the Scouts for the hard work in earning rank badges!
Thank you for your interest in Cub Scouting!
