We have the good fortune of having leaders with life experiences that enhance our scouts experiences. Collectively our leaders are one or more of the following: Eagle Scouts, alumni of the Pack, former military, fire department trained, teachers, clinicians, holders of advanced degrees and parents.  Additionally, our leaders are active in athletic,  religious and other civic organizations.

Our leaders are subject to BOTH the Boys Scouts of America (BSA) and The Diocese of Rockville Centre standards of screening for working with children.  The screenings involve various background and criminal checks.  ALL leaders MUST complete the screenings and participate in the BSA approved Youth Protection training BEFORE they can become a leader. They are further required by the Diocese to attend Virtus Youth Protection training as well.

Our greatest measure of our leaders is the opinions of our scouts and their families.  Our leaders are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and, perhaps the highest honor, are respected and fun!
