Backpacking in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming!
July 25th through August 2nd
Seven boys and 4 adults drove to Wyoming to hike in the Bighorn Mountains. Our first stop on Saturday was the KOA at Devil's Tower where we spent the night. The next day, we completed our drive to the start of the Edelman Trail and began our hike. We spent a total of 5 days hiking, covering 35 miles and reaching an altitude of 10,310 feet above sea level in cresting the Geneva Pass. Following our hiking, we drove to the KOA in the Badlands where we showered (boy did we need it!). We then returned to Rochester on Sunday.
