Tiger The uniform is an important part of the Scouting program, especially for youth early in their boy scout trail. It identifies the scouts and adults with Tigers and gives them a sense of belonging to the den, the pack, and the Boy Scouts of America. Scouts enjoy wearing their Tiger uniform. They should wear it to all den meetings, pack meetings, and special pack activities. The uniform for the Tiger Scout is the official blue Cub Scout shirt, Tiger blue/orange neckerchief, Tiger neckerchief slide and Tiger hat. There is also a blue web belt with metal buckle, blue socks with orange band, and blue pants to complete the uniform but they are not required. Tip: Purchase a short-sleeved rather than long-sleeved shirt for your scout. The short-sleeved shirts are less expensive, cooler in active play, and will not be outgrown as fast as long-sleeved. One short-sleeved shirt should last for the 2.5 to 3 years he/she will need it.

WEBELOS The uniform is integral to the Scouting program. It identifies the youth and adults with Webelos and gives them a sense of belonging to the den, the pack, and the Boy Scouts of America. The uniform distinguishes Webelos from other Cub Scouts. Scouts and leaders should wear their uniforms to all den meetings, pack meetings, and special pack activities. The uniform for the Webelos Scout is the official TAN Cub Scout shirt, plaid Webelos neckerchief, Webelos slide, and plaid Webelos hat. The GREEN web belt with a BSA buckle, green socks and GREEN uniform pants are optional. Tip: The TAN shirt is the same shirt worn in Boy Scouts. Purchase a short-sleeved rather than long-sleeved shirt for your scout. The short-sleeved shirts are less expensive, cooler in active play, and will not be outgrown as fast as long-sleeved. Tip: If you get a green Boy Scout belt for your tan uniform, you will not be able to display any Cub Scout belt loops. The belt widths are different and the loops will not fit. Notice the blue belt in the photo. Each Webelos den should learn to work as a patrol. To help with that patrol identity, each den can choose a Patrol Patch and create a patrol flag, name, and yell.
